Our plan for healthcare, compare it.

Jamie Baillie’s plan does not stack up against the Liberal plan for improved health care.

Liberals will invest more than $100 million over the next four years to improve access and cut waitlists.

There are five ways we will invest to cut wait times and improve access:

· $78 million to create or expand 70 collaborative clinics
· $25.2 million to hire doctors and specialists – using a fact-based approach
· $14.8 million for 1600 more orthopedic surgeries
· $2.25 million for video consulting to improve rural access
· $8.8 million to hire 35 more mental health clinicians

Here’s what Baillie is proposing:

· No money for new collaborative health care clinics
· No money for more orthopedic surgeries
· No money for video consulting to improve rural access
· No money for more mental health clinicians
· Half of what Liberals will invest to hire more doctors

Jamie Baillie thinks there’s a health care crisis, but he’s not willing to invest so patients have shorter wait times and better access.
